Abstract：In this talk, we introduce an exhaustive algorithm for searching for the totally positive algebraic integers. And illustrate with examples the application of this algorithm in Schur-Siegel-Smyth trace problem and in Lehmer's problem. These works are jointed with Cong Wang and Qiong Chen.

吴强，博士，西南大学数学与统计学院教授，博士生导师，重庆市数学会常务理事，重庆市学科技术带头人。主要从事计算数论方面的研究工作，研究领域包括代数整数的性质和无理数的有理逼近等。主持国家级、省部级自然科学基金项目多项，在Mathematics of Computation、Journal of Number Theory等刊物上发表多篇学术论文。
