Abstract: Our aim in this talk is to discuss several generalizations of the Cahn-Hilliard equation. These generalizations were proposed to provide derivations of this equation on stronger physical grounds than the standard phenomenological derivation. We will discuss the well-posedness with an emphasis on logarithmic potentials.

个人简介：

Alain Miranville，法国诺曼底勒阿弗尔大学数学系教授，博士生导师，河南师范大学数学学科“河南省讲座教授”和中原英才引才系列特聘教授，复旦大学数学中心研究FELLOW。2019年获得美国工业与应用数学会（S1AM）研究金奖。迄今为止，Alain教授在国际著名出版社Springer出版社等出版英、法、中译版本优秀学术专著1部，美国数学研究会出版专著2部，合作出版Handbook等10余部（篇），发表学术论文240余篇。Alain教授是无穷维动力系统和相变模型领域的国际著名专家，主要从事非线性偏微分方程的研究，特别是侧重数学物理中数学模型的定性理论、生物与医学中数学模型、相变理论与模型的数学分析与计算、图像处理中的数学模型，无穷维动力系统等，是国际相变理论领域的顶级专家。
