Abstract:We investigate bifurcations of a degenerate homoclinic loop in R^N. We prove that a homoclinic finger-ring, an invariant manifold of a definite dimension textured with homoclinic orbits, arises from the degenerate homoclinic orbit. The size of the homoclinic finger-ring is decided by not only its dimension of manifold but also its width.

张伟年，四川大学二级教授、国家杰青获得者。80-84年毕业于北京大学数学系，87年获中国科学院硕士，90年获北京大学博士，94年获中国青年科技奖，95年获国务院“政府特殊津贴”，01年获教育部“中国高校科学技术奖”，02年获教育部“高校青年教师奖”，08年获国家杰出青年基金，09年获国家教学成果二等奖，12年获宝钢优秀教师特等奖提名奖，18年获教育部自然科学一等奖。
