On April 12, 2025, the Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK/HSKK), hosted by the NCWU with the authorization of Chinese Testing International Co., Ltd., was successfully held at the NCWU’s Longzihu Campus. This examination attracted over 210 international students from more than 30 countries. The examinee group covered multiple universities in Henan Province as well as other provinces, setting a record for the largest scale in history.
International Students Gather, Volunteer Services Provide Warm Support
On the day of the examination, to ensure the smooth participation of students, the School of International Education made early arrangements and organized student volunteers to provide guidance services at key locations such as the campus entrance, the entrance and floors of the S1 Yifu Laboratory Building, where the examination was conducted. Volunteers assisted the security guards in verifying admission tickets, directing routes, and preparing multilingual examination notices to help international students adapt to the examination environment.
Rigorous Examination Management, Leadership Inspection Strengthens Management Details
During the examination, proctors in each examination room strictly followed standardized procedures to verify the identity information of candidates one by one and announce the examination discipline, maintaining good examination order. Li Shengji, Dean of the School of International Education, visited the site for inspection, toured the examination rooms, and put forward work requirements to the proctoring team. During the inspection, Li Shengji inquired about the arrival of candidates and emergency measures from Liu Yue, Director of the Teaching and Research Office for Chinese and Foreign Language Cultures, and provided guidance on the examination management work. At the same time, Li Shengji communicated with Teacher Wang, Inspector of Chinese Testing International Co., Ltd., expressing gratitude for the guidance provided by Chinese Testing International Co., Ltd. and Teacher Wang on the proctoring work.
