
On the afternoon of March 10, Cai Chunyu, Deputy Secretary-General of the Henan International Cultural Exchange Center, together with Deng Dongping, Vice Chairman of the Henan Overseas-Chinese International Culture and Arts Communication Association, led a delegation to visit the School of International Education (Ural Institute) to conduct a survey and discussion meeting on the cultivation of international students and international cultural exchange and cooperation. The Leader of Party and Administrative Affairs of the School of International Education (Ural Institute), as well as other relevant leaders and teachers, attended the meeting. The meeting was presided over by Dean Li Shengji.
The Leader of Party and Administrative Affairs of the School of International Education (Ural Institute) warmly welcomed Cai Chunyu and the delegation, and introduced the main achievements the School of International Education (Ural Institute) has made in recent years in promoting the internationalization of education, the cultivation of international students, and Sino-foreign cultural and people-to-people exchanges. Cai Chunyu affirmed the positive role the School of International Education (Ural Institute) has played in promoting the opening up of education in Henan Province and provided a detailed introduction to the main functions and key work of the Henan International Cultural Exchange Center. Deng Dongping introduced the key work of the Henan Overseas-Chinese International Culture and Arts Communication Association, which is committed to carrying forward the fine traditional Chinese cultures, planning, and conducting various cultural exchange activities to fully display the rich connotations and profoundness of Central Plains culture.
Subsequently, both sides exchanged cooperation intentions on several aspects, including the education of national conditions for international students, the construction of cultural practice bases, and the “Yellow River Culture” themed exchange activities. They reached a consensus on further strengthening resource sharing and jointly promoting international education in the future. Both sides agreed to take this meeting as an important opportunity to establish a regular communication and coordination mechanism, carefully plan cooperative tasks, and promote the implementation of various cooperation projects. These measures are expected to inject new impetus into the international development of NCWU and push the educational opening-up of Henan Province as well as the dissemination of Central Plains culture to new heights.
