As reported by China Youth Network, to thoroughly implement the concept of practical education, guide the Chinese and foreign youth to perceive the Yellow River culture, and enhance cultural mutual learning, one of the first batch of social practice activity bases for the Chinese and foreign youth approved by the Ministry of Education, co-constructed by NCWU and the Yellow River Museum was recently officially inaugurated at the Yellow River Museum. Wang Huaxing, Director of the Department of International Cooperation and Exchange of Education Department of Henan Province, Zhang Huaiji, Curator of the Yellow River Museum, Li Yanbin, Vice President of NCWU, responsible persons of relevant departments, and representatives of the Chinese and foreign youth students jointly witnessed this important moment.

Named the "Yellow River Museum--the Social Practice Activity Base of NCWU for the Chinese and Foreign Youth", the base aims to build a practical platform for the Chinese and foreign youth to understand the Yellow River's history, participate in ecological protection, and experience river governance wisdom through an innovative university-museum collaboration model.

At the ceremony, Zhang Huaiji stated that the establishment of the base marked a new starting point for the university-museum cooperation. Relying on rich collection resources, it would lead the Chinese and foreign youth to feel the profound heritage and contemporary charm of the Yellow River through exhibitions, studies, interactive experiences, and other forms, making the base a solid bridge for cultural mutual learning.

Starting from the missions of the university, Li Yanbin elaborated on the far-reaching significance of the social practice activity base. He pointed out that the base would not only be a practical classroom for "university ideological and political courses" and a friendship link for cultural dialogues, but also a vivid footnote to building a powerful education country.

Wang Huaxing emphasized that the establishment of the base was an innovative measure to deepen "practical education" and an important carrier for the construction of the "Overseas Study in Henan" brand. She hoped that the base would continue to deepen connotation construction, develop courses for theme practice, innovate immersive projects, build a national demonstrative platform for cultural exchanges among the Chinese and foreign youth, and make "Overseas Study in Henan" have both the depth of "learning" and the warmth of "practice".

On site, Li Yanbin and Zhang Huaiji jointly inaugurated the base, marking the official launch of this platform bearing the missions of cultural dissemination and youth cultivation. In the future, NCWU will rely on the base to focus on the training of international students, enhance their international understanding, promote them to deeply perceive the course of Chinese culture and understand the connotation of Yellow River civilization, and cultivate young talents who understand, befriend, and love China with both a global perspective and a sentiment for the Yellow River.
