The UNESCO Chair on Stepwise Ecological Restoration of Watersheds (SEROW), hosted by North China University of Water Resources and Electric Power (NCWU), has established an international partnership network connecting UNESCO-related bodies, professional organizations, universities, and research institutions across Asia, Europe, the Americas, and Africa.

This network supports interdisciplinary research, academic exchange, education and training, knowledge sharing, and capacity building in watershed restoration, biodiversity conservation, water security, and sustainable development. By linking regional experience with global expertise, SEROW seeks to develop science-based, context-sensitive, and adaptable approaches to the ecological restoration and recovery of rivers, lakes, and watersheds.

The partnership network also provides a platform for joint research projects, academic visits, student and scholar exchanges, international conferences, professional training, and the dissemination of innovative restoration practices.
