On the afternoon of July 28, the Closing Ceremony of the 2025 "Yellow River Culture Experience Summer Camp" of NCWU was held in Conference Room S4-206 of Longzihu Campus. Guo Guihai, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of International Education, Gao Kang, Deputy Director of the International Office of NCWU, and more than 30 teachers and students from six countries, including the United Kingdom, Spain, France, Ireland, Singapore, and Mexico, attended the Closing Ceremony. The ceremony was hosted by Zhou Yantao, Deputy Dean of the School of International Education.
At the beginning of the ceremony, all campers watched a highlight video of the summer camp, reviewing the wonderful moments in language learning, cultural experience, and research visits over the past ten days. Subsequently, in his summary speech, Guo Guihai stated that the summer camp, with "Yellow River Culture" as the main line, helped campers understand the historical depth of Chinese civilization and the development achievements of contemporary China from multiple dimensions through a combination of language learning, thematic lectures, intangible cultural heritage experiences, and on-the-spot study. He hoped that the students would take this summer camp as a starting point, continue to strengthen language learning and cultural understanding, actively tell a true, three-dimensional, and comprehensive story of China, and become an important bridge for promoting friendly exchanges among the Chinese and foreign youth.
Li Hongmei, the leading teacher of Spain, first expressed her sincere thanks to NCWU for the careful organization and thoughtful arrangements in her speech, believing that the summer camp provided valuable learning opportunities and a platform for multicultural exchanges for the students. She said that through ten days of study and life, the students had improved their Chinese proficiency, learned basic knowledge of water conservancy, and deepened their understanding of Yellow River culture and Central Plain culture. She hoped that there would be more opportunities to participate in similar projects in the future to further enhance the understanding and friendship among the Chinese and foreign youth.

Kevin, a camper representative from the United Kingdom, also shared his feelings. He said that through the summer camp, he had gained a more three-dimensional understanding of Chinese culture, learned about the history and rapid development of Henan, as well as the governance of the Yellow River, and had made many friends among the teachers and students of NCWU. On behalf of all campers, he thanked NCWU for providing such a valuable learning opportunity, as well as the teachers' patient guidance and careful help throughout the activity, making this experience fulfilling and unforgettable.
In the certificate awarding session, Guo Guihai and Gao Kang respectively awarded the international summer course completion certificates of NCWU to the campers, encouraging them to turn this experience into motivation for enhancing understanding and promoting exchanges. At the end of the ceremony, all participants took a group photo to mark the successful conclusion of the summer camp.
