NCWU students have recently won several awards in “The 9th National Zhou Yuan Pei University Students Mechanics Competition”, which is jointly directed and held by Theoretical and Applied Mechanics Teaching Guidance Committee of Higher Learning in Ministry of Education in People’s Republic of China, Chinese Society of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics and Zhou Yuan Pei Foundation.

Xu Rui and 4 other students in School of Civil Engineering and Communication have honorably won the Third Prizes in the National Competition. Yan Sheng Tai in School of Civil Engineering and Li Xiao in School of Water Resources Engineering and 8 other students have won the National Outstanding Award. Furthermore, Ma Wenliang and Zhang Qinghua have won the Outstanding Instructor Award.
