Prof. Philippe Gourbesville, Director of Polytech Nice Sophia and Ms Na Yin, Executive Officer of International Office visited NCWU 

during October 22nd to October 23rd. In the afternoon of October 22nd, Pro. Philip gave a lecture Challenges and Opportunities In 

Water Resource Information System to the first year graduate students majored in water conservancy with the help of illustrations, 

pictures and videos, introduced future development prospect of Informative Water Management. Ms. Na Yin also introduced the 

dual-master degree program and the student exchange program held by NCWU and the Polytech Nice Sophia.

On the morning of  October 23rd, Prof. Philippe and Ms Na Yin had a formal discussion with the staff of Personnel Department, 

International Office, School of Graduate, School of Water Conservancy, School of Civil Engineering and Transportation, and School 

of Electric Powe in the Hua Yuan Campus. This meeting mainly focuses on three topics: First, the current progress and specific 

improvement measures in the Sino-France Institute of International Engineers in NCWU. Second, the possibility of holding the 

International Academic Forum and creating interdisciplinary laboratory on the basis of innovative experimental platform.Third, 

the cultivation prgramme for the coming international students from the Polytech Nice Sophia next semester.

After the conference, the guests also visited our laboratory in Longzi Hu Campus.
