On October 26th, 2018, guests from Veracruz University, Mexico visited NCWU, including Dr. Anibal Carlos Zottele, director of Institute of Chinese Studies in Veracruz University, Dr. Esteban Zottele, representative of Veracruz University in China, and Dr. Guo Cunhai, director of Latin American Social-cultural Research Center of CASS (Chinese Academy of Social Sciences). Directors of International Office and Office of Social Sciences and Humanities met with them in Longzihu Campus.
The above mentioned departments of NCWU showed warm welcome to the guests and briefly introduced NCWU, esp. the development of Latin American Center in our university. Dr. Guo gave an overall introduction to Latin American Social-cultural Research Center of CASS. Dr. Anibal expressed their willing to push the cooperation between NCWU and Veracruz University.
The two sides communicated further on the cooperation in student exchanges, teacher training and language center, etc. They also discussed how to take advantage of the feature “water conservancy plus Spanish” under the call of “The Belt and Road” Initiative.
