On June 7th, 2018, guests from Teesside University, UK visited NCWU, including the Vice President named Prof. David Bell, the Deputy Dean of School of science, engineering and design named Prof. Kevin Thomas, the Director of China Office named Hou Liang and other delegates. Liu Xuemei, Vice President of NCWU, met with them in Longzihu campus. Staff from International Office, Teaching Affairs Office, Student Affairs Office and several schools attended the meeting.
Liu Xuemei extended a warm welcome to the guests and introduced basic information of NCWU. She reviewed the cooperation between two universities and successes already gained. Liu also put forward some fields and programs which are promising in the future cooperation, like joint training programs for students majoring in computer science and management, as well as language training center.
Prof. David Bell expressed thanks for our hospitality and efforts given to cooperative programs. He gave a brief introduction to Teesside University and also looked forward to more and deeper cooperation with NCWU.
