On January 7，Mr. Siwa Wasuntarapiwat，President of Rajamangala University of Technology Rattanakosin（RMUTR）, Thailand and his delegation visited NCWU. Prof. Liu Wenkai, President of NCWU and the relevant departments met with the guests at Longzihu campus.

President Liu Wenkai warmly welcomed President Siwa Wasuntarapiwat and his delegation. He pointed out that Thailand is a friend of China, as well as one of the important country along the Belt and the Road. We are willing to strengthen cooperation and exchanges with RMUTR. The RMUTR delegation presented sincere appreciation for President Liu Wenkai’s hospitality. President Siwa Wasuntarapiwat mentioned that the two universities, both featuring science and engineering, shared the similar major setup, which would surely make an fruitful cooperation in jointly cultivating international talents. He hoped to develop the cooperation in water conservancy, business management, and Chinese language education.

The directors of the relevant departments of the two universities had a in-depth discussion on the details and possibilities of the potential cooperation.
