On the afternoon of October 30, Suurmunne, the counselor of education and science of the Finnish embassy in China, and her party, accompanied by Tong Yufei, the director of the European and American Department of the foreign affairs and overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the Henan provincial Party committee, and other leaders visited NCWU. Liu Xuemei, vice president of NCWU, welcomed Suurmunne and her delegation in conference room 6 on Longzihu campus and held a symposium which was chaired by Han Fule, the director of international exchange and cooperation center.

This year marks the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Finland. Thus, this symposium is a meeting to promote the implementation of the Henan Finland exchange and cooperation docking meeting held on October 29. The two sides will maintain good communication, deepen understanding, expand educational foreign exchanges and promote mutual benefit and win-win results with the help of the exchange platform built by the people’s Government of Henan Province and the Finnish embassy in China.
