Recently, Huayu college, an overseas institution of NCWU, was officially approved in Response to the Reply of Henan Provincial Department of Education on Agreeing to Hold Huayu College in Malaysia for the record. Huayu college is the first overseas project of NCWU, which indicates that NCWU has made a zero breakthrough in utilizing high-quality educational resources to carry out overseas school running, and the “open living school” has yielded new fruits.

The establishment of Huayu college is a major breakthrough in the opening up of NCWU. It is not only our concrete action to thoroughly implement the education plan for the new era of education in Henan and to promote the construction of the "one belt and one road" education action plan, but also a useful attempt to explore the mode of personnel training and education reform, and actively serve the “one belt and one road” water conservancy and hydropower construction in NCWU. Thus, it will boost the construction of a high-level university of water resources and hydropower with distinctive characteristics and enhance the international influence of NCWU. At the same time, the establishment of Huayu college will also expand the degree of education opening to the outside world in Henan province, and have a significant impact on the exploration of overseas school running system and the improvement of connotation construction of colleges and universities in Henan province.
