Visa fees |
Depending on the duration of stay (1 or 2 semesters), the relevant fees shall be borne by the student. In addition, all exchange students must undergo medical screening in their home country and cover any additional costs themselves. |
Living Expenses |
Approximately 3,000 RMB per month, excluding accommodation fees. |
Medical Insurance |
800 RMB/year/person. All international students must purchase comprehensive medical insurance in mainland China,which is necessary for enrollment. |

Checklist for required materials:
1.Foreign citizens aging from 18 to 35 with valid full page passports(every page of the passport book, include blank pages);
2.Foreigner Physical Examination Form within half a year, according to the time term begins, you may need to prepare it twice (please contact local public hospitals with official qualification);
3.Police certificate for no criminal record within half a year , according to the time term begins, you may need to prepare it twice (which can be collected from local police department);
4.English Language proficiency certificate such as TOEFL 60, IELTS 5.5 or other equivalents(EX. EF SET 60 or Duolingo 100);
5.Completed student exchange application formwith hand-writing E-signature（find it on this link: https://lxsapply.ncwu.edu.cn/download）;
6.Transcript (academic performance);
7.Certified bank statement of recent 3 months(student or partents)-minimum USD3000;
8.ID photo (not the ID card photo), for jw202 application, lower than 200k, jpg or png;
9.the Recommendation Letter from home school.
