1.How to get to North China University of Water Resources andElectric Power (NCWU)located inZhengzhou City ?
We suggest that all new international students take flight toZhengzhou City.
If you fly into the following cities of China, the following routescan be your best choice to reach our Zhengzhou city:
(1) BeijingàZhengzhou(about 1 hour);
(2) ShanghaiàZhengzhou(about1.5 hours);
(3) GuangzhouàZhengzhou(about 2 hours);
(4) UrumchiàZhengzhou (about 4 hours).

Notice:
(1) Please send your accurate flightinformation tosie@ncwu.edu.cnat least 48hours before your departure from your homecountry so that we will arrange someone to pick you up at the airport. Otherwise,you have to take taxi ( about RMB 100) to NCWU by yourself.
(2) We do NOT suggest you to take trains toreach our city Zhengzhou, as it is much more INconvenient for you as a foreignerand the transportation cost is higher as well.
2. Some other tips:
(1) Registering on time according to“Admission Letter”;
(2) Besides tuition and hostel charges, also prepare at least5,000 RMB as pocket money for the basic living expenditure for the first twomonths, covering meals at student canteen about RMB 2000 for two months, ResidencePermit RMB 400, Insurance Fee RMB 800, small daily necessities for settlingdown RMB 1000, transportation and communication charges RMB 800, and so on.

二、入学注意事项
1.按照《录取通知书》的时间报到。
2.除学费和住宿费外，请至少携带5,000元现金确保两个月的基本生活费用。（包括两个月伙食费2000元;居留证400元；保险费800元；交通费1000元；基本生活用具1000元；交通费800元等）
